On June 15th, health workforce partners across North Carolina convened for a webinar focused on strengthening the state’s healthcare workforce and supporting Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

This session was an opportunity to engage partners in coordinated action, share updates on the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP), and celebrate National Certified Nursing Assistant Week with a focused discussion on educational resources available to support the CNA workforce.

The webinar highlighted key developments in workforce initiatives and took a deep dive into resources available to support nursing assistants and direct care professionals. Presenters shared information about Workforce Pell grants, student financial aid, and wraparound supports.
