Kaniqua Outlaw

Data Analyst

Kaniqua Outlaw (she/her/hers) serves as the data analyst for the NC Center on the Workforce for Health, where she leads health workforce data analysis to inform decision-making and strategic planning among health workforce partners. With a robust background in population health informatics and data linkage processes, Kaniqua brings over a decade of expertise in HIV prevention, data management, and public health informatics.

Before joining the Center, Kaniqua worked as a data integration manager, providing technical assistance in data exchange, data sharing, and data-informed decision-making to local, state, and federal stakeholders. She has also contributed to significant public health initiatives in various roles, including project coordinator for the NIH-funded RADx-Underserved Populations (RADx-UP) initiative, clinical research assistant for the longitudinal Women’s Interagency HIV Study (WIHS), and epidemiology specialist for the CDC-funded Medical Monitoring Project (MMP).
