As the Center’s business officer, Rhonda (she/her/hers) provides administrative and financial expertise to the program through strategic planning, budget management and financial analysis, contract and grant administration and HR operations. She also serves as a resource for development, facilitation and implementation of department policies and procedures.

Rhonda has more than 20 years of UNC System experience. Prior to joining the Center, she was a business analyst at the UNC Hospitals Police Department, working closely with command staff leaders across three hospital police locations, as well as serving as a liaison to the UNC Hospitals Parking and Transportation Department. She also served as an accounting operations manager at UNC-TV, and as a former research administrator and business officer at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
