NC AHEC Passport to Health Careers Program
NC AHEC Passport to Health Careers Program
The NC AHEC offers the Passport to Health Careers (P2HC) program to help students across North Carolina prepare for careers in health care. This pipeline initiative provides opportunities for pre-college students, parents, educators, and community members to explore various health care careers. By participating in the program, students can earn a Certificate of Completion, which enhances their academic credentials and makes them stand out in a competitive job market.
The P2HC curriculum allows students to document health science, community service, and leadership activities starting as early as eighth grade. To get started, students must contact their regional NC AHEC director for approval and guidance on navigating the available health careers programs.
